Scotland Food & Drink is a unique industry-led organisation that offers a range of benefits to its members, including a product development service, web compliance audit, marketing support, sales advice, consumer research, information on access to markets, a meet the buyer programme, PR support and a free legal consultation.

It is the lead body helping to deliver the Sustainable Economic Growth workstream of the Scottish Government's first-ever National Food and Drink Policy. This means that our members, through involvement in one of 4 working groups, can help shape the future of the food and drink industry in Scotland.

Scotland Food & Drink aims to grow the value of Scotland's food and drink sector, make it more profitable and deliver greater global success in a fiercely competitive market.

Our mission is ambitious: to grow the industry from £10 billion to £12.5 billion by 2017. And our vision? To build Scotland's international reputation as 'A Land of Food and Drink'.

Scotland Food & Drink is also leading a refresh of the current industry strategy to ensure it remains relevant for today’s market. In 2009, the strategy was discussed and debated at a series of industry events across Scotland and a summary document outlining the final strategy will be produced in early 2010.
