Exhibiting at trade events can be a powerful way to meet
influential buyers across both retail and foodservice, gain
valuable contacts and generate new sales leads.
We support food and drink companies to attend show across the
country, offering preferential rates and a menu of added services
to make the experience easier and cost-effective.
Our Scotland, Land of Food & Drink branded pavilions are
designed to be visually attractive, in good locations, and stand
out from the crowd.
Since 2009, our pavilion at the Speciality & Fine Food
Fair, London Olympia, has featured more than 20 exhibitors
at each show. As the country's leading event for the artisan and
speciality food sector, attracting more than 3,000 buyers, this has
proved to be a very popular exhibition for Scottish companies,
seizing the opportunity to meet key buyers from the sector that
they would not normally have access to. Further information about

To great success, we supported almost 20 companies to attend
ScotHot 2011. The biennial show is the country's
major event for the Scottish foodservice and hospitality industry
and is unrivalled in terms of attracting chefs and operators of
hotels, restaurants, cafes, bars and contract caterers from

The event is a strong platform for companies to gain commercial
leads and raise their profiles in the hospitality, catering and
foodservice markets.
Looking ahead to 2012, we are planning our inaugural pavilion at
Food & Drink Expo 2012. Incorporating the Farm
Shop and Deli, this will be the UK's largest food and drink show in
that year. It offers a fantastic opportunity to meet decision
makers, cross-sector. Food & Drink Expo is attended by trade
representatives from grocery, foodservice, wholesale, manufacturing

Consumer Exhibitions
Our programme also supports companies to attend key consumer
exhibitions, namely BBC Good Food Show Scotland, Glasgow, and the
Winter show in Birmingham.
Such events play an important role for businesses to reach a
cross-section of the public, enabling them to, for example meet and
sell to customers face-to-face; launch & test new products;
generate post-show online sales; build a strong customer database;
build brands; support a marketing strategy and also meet trade
buyers.
For the forth consecutive year, Scotland Food & Drink will
support companies to exhibit at the BBC Good Food Show
Scotland 2012 SECC, Glasgow, the country's biggest food
& drink consumer show attracting more than 20,000
visitors.
The Scotland Food & Drink Pavilion is in the heart of the
Scotland, Land of Food & Drink Regional
Village, one of the show highlights designed to introduce
the public to a wide array of superb regional products from around
the country.
