Paisley’s ever-popular festival of real ale returns and, once again, it’s being served up with a side order of great food.
The one-day Food Festival takes place on Saturday 22 April from 12noon to 7pm at Abbey Close. The free outdoor event will set taste buds tingling with a feast of Indian, Malaysian, Caribbean and Scottish street food, cookery demonstrations, workshops, live music and children’s entertainment including sing-a-long songs, interactive games and stories.
Taking place from Wednesday 19 to Saturday 22 April in Paisley Town Hall the Beer Festival will celebrate its 30thanniversary in conjunction with St Mirren’s Scottish Cup Win in 1987 with over 300 ales, beers, ciders and wines from Scotland, the UK and abroad. Tickets start from £6 and will be available to purchase on the door.
