Founded in 2008, Cocoa Black manufactures a range of gourmet chocolate products including boxed chocolates, bars, cakes and patisserie.
The company distributes its products through top end retailers (e.g. Harvey Nichols), its own speciality chocolate shop and direct to consumers via the internet. The company also runs the Cocoa Black Chocolate and Patisserie school in Peebles. The school (a 4-star visitor attraction) is the UK's leading educational facility dedicated to teaching the skills required to create stunning chocolates, cakes and desserts. Cocoa Black is run by culinary Olympic winning chef Ruth Hinks.
