Demijohn, is an award winning Liquid Deli located in both Edinburgh and Glasgow which bottles its high quality, handmade range of liqueurs, spirits, wines, oils and vinegars for each customer in beautiful Italian glass bottles after they have been tasted.
Demijohn is a family owned and run company that was founded in 2004 in Edinburgh by Angus and Frances Ferguson. It lovingly sources all its products from small independent producers throughout the UK and Europe and believes strongly in fair, clean and sustainable production. Such has been its success, in October 2008 it was awarded the 'Judges Special Commendation' for the Independent Retailer of the Year category at the Scottish Retail Excellence Awards.
Demijohn's unique range of food and drink products includes delicious potions such as Raspberry Vodka made by Retired PE Teachers in East Lothian, Sloe Gin made with hand picked sloe berries from South West Scotland and a unique selection of cask strength single malt whiskies.
Demijohn also stocks some of the finest single estate extra virgin olive oils available in Britain as well as locally produced fruit vinegars, such as raspberry, bramble and apple.
Customers are encouraged to visit our shops in Edinburgh and Glasgow to experience the wonderful taste of each product first hand and have their choice bottled personally for them in the shops.
Our environmental policy ensures that all Demijohn bottles can be refilled for the cost of the refill only. For those who cannot make it to our shops, Demijohn also mail orders all its products internationally via our online shop www.demijohn.co.uk.
Demijohn products can make unique present ideas and original Corporate Gifts. They are also available for wholesale on request to bars, restaurants, farm shops and delicatessens.
