Iain Burnett, the award-winning Highland Chocolatier, has a passion for excellence and elegance. He has trained under Master Chocolatiers of the Belgian, French and Swiss schools and now, working from his specially designed chocolate kitchen in Highland Perthshire, he creates his own range of gourmet truffles and pralines to an exquisite standard. His exceptional Velvet Truffles scooped the Scottish Excellence Foodservice Product 2009. He has the facility to place corporate designs on the dipped ganaches - which can be supplied in elegant VIP presentation boxes or delicate 'turn down' butterfly boxes, or to supply different recipes of dark, milk or white pure, fresh truffle dusted in cocoa powder - which can be supplied with special truffle forks to present a truly unique petit four at dinners and events. He combines premium grade chocolate from the South Atlantic island of Sao Tome with crushed fruit, spices and fresh cream from Scotland's larder. His training in chocolate sculpture has also led to a range of spectacular wedding cakes in pure chocolate.
