Heritage Portfolio was formed from a strategic merger of two successful Edinburgh companies, Heritage Hospitality and Portfolio Catering in October 2002. These entrepreneurial led businesses had both chosen to concentrate their skills and focus within the heritage venue marketplace where a huge amount of personal experience was gained by the respective management teams. Combining our strengths, infrastructure and experience has allowed us to make a long term investment in new purpose built premises which house our kitchens, logistics and administration functions. There are three distinct divisions to the company: -Event catering -Retail catering -Office boardroom catering Each area shares the common goals and company values although different approaches and strategies are adopted for each. We have a commitment to push the boundaries on food and beverage service, constantly producing new and innovative concepts and to offer clients a personalised service tailored to their individual needs. The combination of values, passion, commitment and pride of our private business merged with the experience and expertise of having been allied with many high profile venues and clients has resulted in a more sophisticated, developed and improved service. This is a service and approach that our larger, conglomerate, and multi-national competitors struggle to compete with. Within the central Scotland corporate event market, Heritage Portfolio has built an enviable and desirable reputation. The shared vision to break the mould of traditional event catering and offer bespoke and personalised food and service as part of our turnkey style of service, free from constraints within this niche market, was the key deciding factor in bringing the two companies together.
