Freshlink Foods is a frozen sausage manufacturer, based in Glasgow in Scotland.
The business was founded in 1938 as a manufacturer of chilled meat products and rapidly grew to become a major supplier to the Scottish market. The manufacture of frozen sausages commenced in 1982. There is a very strong team culture in Freshlink Foods which prides itself on giving customers the highest quality and safest products, at very competitive prices which is reflected in the company's mission statement. We manufacture approximately 60 different varieties of Sausages ranging from a Value Sausage to a Butcher Style Cumberland sausage; we also produce Lorne sausage along with a full range of reformed products which include Unger BBQ Ribs, Chipsteaks and Stateside Diner. {Examples of Key Customers and/or Key Wholesalers} The total customer base covers both retail and foodservice customers, these customers are supplied with 320 tonnes of frozen products under both private label and 'Unger' brand each week. We supply Tesco, Morrison's, Farmfoods and Co-op within the retail sector. We supply Compass, Woodwards, Holdsworth, Caterforce and Fairways and many more within the Foodservice Sector. We also supply Makro and Bookers.
