Still very much involved in the day to day running of Inverawe, Robert and Rosie oversee the production of premium quality smoked foods at the factory on the banks of Loch Etive in Argyll, Scotland.

Inverawe uses traditional oak-log smoking methods to produce a wide range of smoked fish. The logs burn 24hrs a day and it can take anything up to 48 hrs to smoke a side of salmon. Nothing is rushed, the fish are allowed to gently take up the smoke in their own unhurried time. The art is to know instinctively when a side is ready. Robert has passed on this craft to the next generation and Inverawe will continue to use these age-old methods as they result in a product which is so succulent, smoky, well balanced and delicious.

The smokery range includes classic Scottish Smoked Trout and Salmon, Smoked Ham, Venison and Chicken along with various meat and fish pates. Inverawe's organic range of smoked salmon is hugely popular and widely regarded as 'the best on the market' winning Supreme Champion at the International Food Exhibition 2006. In addition they also stock a wide range of complimentary foods and sauces which have been chosen for their exclusivity and quality from other small producers throughout the UK.

Inverawe also offer a gift and hamper service, placing their finest fresh and smoked foods beautifully in an array of wonderful sized gifts for the mail-order and corporate markets. Their product range is available to all independent delicatessen and top-niche restaurants and hotels. Their client list boasts: Chatsworth Farm Shop, Daylesford Organics, House of Fraser, American Express, Roast, Tigerlilly of Edinburgh, The Orient Express and Hebridean Princess and of course, Her Majesty The Queen, as they have held the Royal Warrant since 2002.
