We have launched a dynamic new product: the Calson folded pizza. Better known in Italian as the calzone, the Calson is an unashamedly Scottish version of the famous folded pizza. Stuffings include cheese and onion, lamb and corned beef hash, and it can be served hot or cold. Calson is the Old Scots word for trouser leg (calzone means trouser leg in Italian). Initial sales of the Calson have proved encouraging, scoring at hit on football terraces.
