Small specialist producer of handmade, very flavoursome vegetarian and gluten free produce including savouries, unusual cakes, modern style clootie dumplings, plus highly praised lightweight traditional style Xmas puddings.
Our Xmas Puddings are lightweight, fruity and crunchy textured and supplied in traditional white earthenware basins...they make a wonderful and memorable gift. A small quantity are regularly exported. Our products are available primarily via local farmers markets and, in the case of cakes and puddings, by on line & mail order also. The range includes specialities such as our highly recommended wheat-free natural plant oestrogen seed cake. Furthermore, in response to the growing market interest in gluten free produce, over 60% of our products now satisfy this criteria, including our unique lemon yoghurt cake. All products are hand made by the proprietor Eileen Wilkinson at a farmhouse in rural Ayrshire. As individuals we are associated strongly with the fast growing, artisan Ayrshire Food Network and with the International Slow Food Movement.
