Scotland Food & Drink
Message from the Chief Executive
"It was with mixed feelings that this week I tendered my resignation as Chief Executive of Scotland Food & Drink. I have been offered a position with Albert Bartlett to lead their new Scotty brand product line.
"This is a very exciting venture, looking to take the best of Scottish products under a brand umbrella that represents quality, healthy products with great provenance; all very much in line with the strategy I have been promoting for the last 3 years.
"I feel that I have taken SF&D a long way from its beginnings, through the growth of membership; the launch of major programmes; the development of the team; and the building of the Executive Group. I feel that I can leave SF&D in a strong position and, of course, look forward to working with the SF&D team as a customer in my new role.
"I’ll be around at SF&D for a few months, and look forward to seeing as many of you as possible in that period – at the Excellence Awards, the Highland Show, or elsewhere. "I wish members all the very best with your plans for the future and to talking to you about opportunities with the Scotty Brand."
