Top Chefs Get Set for Taste of Edinburgh

A host of the UK’s biggest names in food and drink are travelling from far and wide as they line up to showcase their skills and tantalise taste buds at this year’s Taste of Edinburgh, in partnership with AEG.

Culinary favourites including Gary Rhodes, French heart-throb Jean-Christophe Novelli and Irish TV darling, cook and author, Rachel Allen will join acclaimed Michelin-star talents Daniel Galmiche, Martin Blunos and Atul Kochhar as they return to The Meadows for Scotland’s biggest food and drink festival from 1-3 July.

The six top chefs will each demonstrate their unique styles of cooking live in specially created theatres, allowing foodie fans the chance to get up close and personal with the stars of gastronomy and gain some top cooking tips from the professionals.

The world-renowned chefs will join a stellar line-up of restaurants, representing the very best of Scottish culinary talent, including:

Taste Festivals is the inspiration of Brand Events, which joined forces with Channel 4 in September 2006. In 2011, Taste Festivals will be held in Edinburgh and London in the UK and internationally in Amsterdam, Auckland, Cape Town, Dubai, Dublin, Johannesburg, Melbourne, Milan and Sydney.
