The focus of our reception will be to launch the latest Global Trends, Global Opportunities report from the Scotland Food & Drink INSIGHTs team.
We will welcome experts from the Scotland Food & Drink INSIGHTS team and HSBC to speak to attendees about how they can develop their international trading.
This reception is kindly sponsored by HSBC. Afternoon tea and refreshments will be provided. Please RSVP to Kenny Martin in order to secure your place. Booking is essential. Non-members are also welcome to contact us and, if space allows, we will offer them the chance to attend.
Also on the Thursday afternoon (immediately before, during and after the above reception) we will be welcoming the University of Aberdeen Rowett Institute of Nutrition and Health whic will be available within our offices to outline its research underpinning the food industry as well and its involvement in the new food industry initiatives.
Prof Peter Morgan (Director), Prof Julian Mercer, Prof Denise Kelly and Dr Sue Bird (Knowledge Exchange Manager) will all be in attendance. On the Friday of the show, Alan Rowe, special adviser on the food industry at the Rowett Institute, will also be available at the Scotland Food & Drink offices to answer any queries about research and innovation for the food industry. Those of you with an agricultural bias may also be interested in attending an HSBC reception on the Friday of the show, again at our offices, where the dedicated Head of Agriculture will be addressing attendees on how HSBC can assist agricultural businesses in Scotland.
