Simon Howie Launches Premium Breakfast Range into ASDA

Scottish family butcher Simon Howie has launched a new premium breakfast range currently available exclusively in ASDA throughout Scotland.

Comprising steak lorne sausage, steak sausage, pork sausage and black pudding, the new premium breakfast range follows Simon Howie’s signing up to Scotland Food & Drink’s supplier development programme.

David Niblett, national sales manager at Simon Howie, said: "This new range is the result of extensive research and product development in the premium breakfast category and we are now delighted to be able to offer this range to the Scottish consumer."

Mervyn Jones, Asda local buyer for Scotland, said: "I am delighted to have this range in our ASDA Scottish stores.

"The feedback from our customers has been really positive. The Simon Howie brand is now one of the mainstays of our local offer in Scotland and has helped to grow our sales of Scottish produce, demonstrating our support for local Scottish brands."

Scotland Food & Drink’s supplier development programme aims to generate millions of pounds worth of sales for Scottish brands through ASDA.

The nine-month programme, which kicked off earlier this year, helps companies gain industry knowledge and expertise and develop a long-term trading relationship with the supermarket.
