Bookings are now being taken for teams of four to abseil from Scotland’s Titan Crane on 20 August  - every team that raises  the minimum £450 in sponsorship will have the chance to  win an amazing money can’t buy prize – to have dinner served to them 150ft up in the air,  on top of the Titan Crane, courtesy of celebrity chef Jamie Oliver’s Glasgow restaurant – Jamie’s Italian.

This will be the first time that dinner has been served at the top of the iconic crane and the combination of fine food and breathtaking views will make it a truly unique and exhilarating experience.

The teams of four will abseil from the 150 foot crane which sits on the banks of the river Clyde for learning disability charity, ENABLE Scotland.  The charity has been running abseils from the Titan Crane for three years now in partnership with the Glasgow Climbing Centre, so can promise a safe and well run event that will provide you with a total adrenalin rush. As well as being in with a chance of winning dinner by raising the minimum sponsorship, the team that raises the most money overall will also win this money can’t buy prize, and our two winning teams can each bring four guests.

ENABLE Scotland’s Fundraising Manager Jill MacRae said: “Just looking up at the crane is amazing  but once you are up on top, well it really is breath-taking. Being able to sit up there and eat fabulous food from Jamie’s Italian is so totally crazy yet wonderful that we knew we had to make it happen. It will certainly be an experience of a lifetime”.

Company teams, teams of friends, family teams – anyone and everyone is welcome. No previous abseiling experience is necessary as all training will be given on the day.
