Expansion for Di Maggio's Restaurant Chain

Di Maggio's, the Scottish restaurant chain, has agreed a £15 million refinancing package for its property arm from Clydesdale Bank, reports The Herald.

According to article in The Herald, Di Maggio’s has reopened its former L’Ariosto restaurant in Glasgow’s Mitchell Street, following a £500,000 refurbishment, as The Barolo Grill.

The chain is also to open a flagship Edinburgh restaurant on the corner of George Street and St Andrew Square under its Amarone brand, having invested £750,000 in the 150-seat Milanese-style pizzeria and wine bar.

Di Maggio’s has 16 outlets in Scotland under its own name and its other brands, including the Cafe Andaluz tapas outlets.
