The hunt is now on for the UK’s best butchery businesses for 2011 so if you think your shop is a cut above the rest, then make sure you enter before the close date.
Entering the competition can help you create a platform to promote and boost your business, enhance your company profile and showcase your achievements.
John Davidson of Davidsons Specialist Butchers, winner of the Scottish Butcher’s Shop of Year Winner in 2010, commented: "I and all my staff were delighted to be presented with the 2010 Scottish regional winner’s award.
"The outstanding press and media coverage has been second to none, giving the business an enormous boost in customer numbers while opening many doors to expand the business in new areas. Onwards and upwards... 2011 Awards, here we come!"
The 2011 categories are:
- Scottish Butcher’s Shop of the Year
- Northern Ireland Butcher’s Shop of the Year
- Welsh Butcher’s Shop of the Year
- North of England Butcher’s Shop of the Year
- Midlands & East of England Butcher’s Shop of the Year
- South of England Butcher’s Shop of the Year
- Farm Shop of the Year Butcher's
- Halal Butcher’s Shop of the Year
In addition to the above you may also enter one or both of the following:
- Innovation of the Year
- Young Butcher of the Year
The coveted Butcher’s Shop of the Year Award will be selected from the regional winners. All finalists will be invited to attend the awards lunch at The Landmark, London on Wednesday, 16th November.
