The Food Standards Agency has confirmed that Board member Dr David Cameron, chair of the Scottish Food Advisory Committee, has been suspended from both posts because of an allegation of gross misconduct.

The allegation is subject to an ongoing inquiry and until that is complete the FSA will not make any further comment.
The Aberdeen Press & Journal obtained a copy of a letter from Jeff Rooker to David Cameron informing him of the suspension and the process being followed to conclude the matter.
