In contrast, only 50% of their London colleagues manage to fit in a break during the working week.
Living up to stereotypes, penny-pinching Scots are tightening their belts and making their own lunch at home then bringing it into the office.
Although Scots are going against the grain by taking a break, the average working lunch break across the nation is only 25.9 minutes and is often served with a side of work, with office workers feeling uninspired and stuck in a rut as lunch becomes just another action to tick off the to-do list.
The survey investigated the lunch habits of UK workers and their attitudes towards the daily lunch break across the working week.
