The Scotsman reports that three top Scottish restaurants all appear in the Good Food Guide's 2012 top 50 list. The book is due to be published today.

Restaurant Martin Wishart, The Kitchin and Andrew Fairlie at Gleneagles all appear in the Good Food Guide's top 50 list which is topped by celebrity chef Heston Blumenthal's restaurant, The Fat Duck in the Berkshire village of Bray.
According to the report in The Scotsman, all the Scottish restaurants have moved up by a number of places in this year's guide.
Wishart's Leith restaurant is listed at 16, up one from 17 while Restaurant Andrew Fairlie climbs to 33rd place from 35th last year.
The Kitchin, which received a Michelin star just six months after opening in 2007 and is also located in Leith, moved up from 41st last year to 35th in the new edition of the guide.
