During the event, the Ayrshire town was transformed into one large gastronomic festival with over 60 traders selling foods and crafts from around the world.

Over 40,000 people loved this experience and now it is coming back for four days from 1st-4th September.

Jacqueline O’Donnell, one of Scotland’s most highly-regarded chefs, will be visiting the market, accompanied by many of Ayrshire’s finest chefs.

Having heard great reviews of the market from Craig Stevenson, managing director of Braehead Foods, Jacqueline will be visiting the Global Market on Thursday, 1st Sepember between 12.30pm and 2pm.

The market takes place in Kilmarnock's King Street with traders showcasing everything from amazing French patisserie, Dutch cheeses, German speciality sausage and Spanish paella to Greek deli produce, Belgian chocolate, wild boar and ostrich from South Africa, Thai and Indian food, and much, much more.
