Visitors will be able to see for themselves steps the farm is taking to reduce the levels of greenhouse gases produced as it grows its crops, feeds and milks its cows and produces its renowned ice-cream. Some of these actions can be adopted on a smaller scale in people’s own homes and gardens, so Stewart Tower owners Neil and Linsey Butler will be joined by SAC environmental experts to pass on a variety of interesting facts and tips to visitors.

Why should you come along?

  • Learn about what happens on the farm
  • See some of the steps Neil and Linsey are taking to reduce the risk of greenhouse gases from the farm
  • Take a look at ‘science in action’
  • Hear about practical steps at Stewart Tower that you can use at home
  • Enter a competition
  • Enjoy a free ice cream

What time does it start?

There are three farm walks planned in total, so visitors are being asked to book a place on either the 11am, 1pm or 3pm walk.

Each walk should last roughly an hour and finish with a free ice cream.
