All proceeds from the charity event will go to the Fishermen’s Mission, the Royal National Mission to Deep Sea Fishermen.

Matt Johansson of Mussel Inn in Hope Street, Glasgow, said: "Our Ladies' Charity Lunch and Fashion Show is always a fun, popular event.

"The combination of some delicious seafood, a glass of wine and a fashion show forms the basis of the perfect Sunday afternoon for many ladies – with all proceeds going to support a worthy cause."

The Fishermen’s Mission fights poverty and despair in our fishing communities by providing emergency and welfare support to fishermen and their families 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.

Located at 157 Hope Street , in the heart of Glasgow city centre and just a five-minute walk from Glasgow Central Station, the award-winning Mussel Inn is renowned for its passion for locally sourced, fresh seafood, providing excellent value for money and a quick and friendly service.

This year’s charity extravaganza costs £25 per ticket which includes a free goody bag, a glass of sparkling wine on arrival, a two-course meal with a glass of wine, coffee and petits fours – with all proceeds going to the Fishermen’s Mission, the Royal National Mission to Deep Sea Fishermen.

The events takes place on Sunday, 9th October from 12.30pm-4.30pm. Tickets can be booked now on 0141 572 1405.
