Irn-Bru maker AG Barr has revealed plans to build a new production plant south of the Border.

Discussing further expansion in England after announcing flat profits this week attributed to the poor summer weather and tough economic conditions, chief executive Roger White said specific plans on the new plant in the south of the UK would be announced in due course.
The interim results for the six months to July 30 revealed that revenue rose 4% to £124m but was offset by rising raw material costs.
Cumbernauld-based AG Barr's brands include the Barr soft drinks range, Rubicom and Tizer.
