Glasgow's Stravaigin restaurant has secured Scotland's only Bib Gourmand award in the Michelin Guide Great Britain & Ireland 2012, published last week.

Stravaigin's Bib Gourmand is the first to be awarded to a Glasgow establishment for a number of years.
Proprietor Colin Clydesdale, proprietor of Stravaigin in Glasgow’s west end, told The Herald: "It’s great to achieve this accolade, which is testament to 17 years of hard graft on the part of the entire team.
"In this trying economic climate it’s fantastic to know genuine enthusiasm for your product can pay off."
A Bib Gourmand is the award given to those establishments offering good cooking but at moderate prices.
