As sponsors of all the meat used in the Supertheatre, Quality Meat Scotland (QMS) will also have a significant presence with its Scotch Butchers Club stand (No E50).
Visitors can meet four butchers who are all members of the club and sell Scotch Beef, Scotch Lamb and Specially Selected Pork.
The brands have whole-chain assurance, which makes them the meat of choice for many consumers keen to support the six assurance schemes which ensure high standards of production, feed, haulage, auction marts, processing and animal welfare are met.
Laurent Vernet, QMS head of marketing, said: "Members of the Scotch Butchers Club source their top-quality beef, lamb and pork from an approved supplier and the gentlemen working on our stand this year, take it a step further by all having farming backgrounds."
The Scotch Butchers Club members will demonstrate cutting and cooking and visitors can enjoy tasting delicious samples as well as pick up excellent tips, recipe booklets and buy Scotch Beef, Scotch Lamb and Specially Selected Pork products to take home.
Laurent continued: "Geographically, Scotland will be well-represented on the stand, and visitors can meet Alex Christie from Christie in Broomhill, Glasgow; Jock Macbeth from Macbeth’s in Forres in Morayshire; Michael Shannon from Damn Delicious at Thankerton near Biggar; and Alan Elliott from Dalbeattie Fine Foods in Dumfriesshire."
The BBC Good Food Show Scotland runs from Friday to Sunday (21-23 October) at the SECC in Glasgow.
