WildWaters Shortlisted in Quality Food Awards 2011

Shetland Products, the marketing arm of Grieg Seafood Hjaltland UK Ltd, has two of its products from the innovative gourmet WildWaters range shortlisted in the prestigious national Quality Food Awards this year.

The two products are WildWaters Smoked Salmon Pastrami (winner of the award in 2009) and WildWaters Gravadlax Limoncello.

The hotly contested Quality Food Awards are for suppliers to the retail sector. The awards ceremony announcing the final winners is due to take place at the Park Plaza, Westminster Bridge, London on 10 November.

Stella Winks of Shetland Products said: "To have two of our products shortlisted is extremely exciting. The awards are highly regarded in the industry and the volume of entries is very high."

Michael Stark, managing director of Grieg Seafood Hjaltland UK, added: "Winning the award in 2009, the year our smokehouse opened, was a major achievement for us and Shetland.
