Glasgow is set to get its own little taste of Italy this month when Carluccio’s opens its doors in the heart of the city’s commercial district – the first Carluccio’s restaurant in Scotland.

The latest addition to the Carluccio’s family, established by the much-lauded celebrity chef Antonio Carluccio in London in 1991, will offer a signature combination of Italian restaurant, caffè and food shop.
Simon Kossoff, CEO at Carluccio’s, commented: "We have been looking to open a Carluccio’s in Scotland for some time now.
"Antonio and I are delighted to have found a first site in Glasgow and are really looking forward to our opening later this month."
Using the freshest seasonal ingredients, many sourced direct from small artisan producers in Italy, Carluccio’s will offer genuine Italian food that can be enjoyed in bustling and relaxed surroundings.
Carluccio’s is due to open at 7 West Nile St , Glasgow before Christmas.
