From this month (November), Morrisons stores in Scotland are listing Graham’s The Family Dairy Scottish Spreadable Butter (250g/500g), Scottish Dairy (conventional) unsalted butter (250g) and slightly salted (250g) butter.

Scotland’s largest independent dairy is also supplying its range of award-winning Graham’s Gold, Organic and Scottish Dairy milks, creams, butters and ice-cream to Scotland’s first and newly-opened Whole Foods Market in Giffnock, Glasgow.

The listings are further welcome news for the Stirlingshire-based dairy that already supplies Sainsbury’s, Tesco, Waitrose (Scotland), Asda and Co-op supermarkets plus leading independents, restaurants and hotels.

Founded at Airthrey Kerse Farm at Bridge of Allan in 1939 by the father of chairman Dr Robert Graham, the company is proud of its rich agricultural roots and is renowned for a firm commitment to product innovation that most recently included the launch in June of the first spreadable butter by a Scottish dairy.

Earlier this year, judges at the 2011 Royal Highland Show awarded the Overall Championship Butter accolade to Graham’s Scottish Slightly Salted Butter (250g), describing it as "a beautifully flavoured butter with outstanding quality" and "an undoubtable winner in an excellent class".
