The morning session takes place from 9am to 1pm and includes an update from Chairman Ray Jones and new Chief Executive James Withers on their industry development work and the re-launch of an even better member benefit package.

In the afternoon, from 2pm until 3pm, we also have the exciting opportunity for members to attend a one off finance and business growth session with Johnston Carmichael, accountants and business advisers to over 330 food and drink companies. This 45 minute presentation and discussion led by Johnston Carmichael and supported by HSBC, will help you focus on the funding aspects of business growth, specifically addressing the following;
• Securing bank funding in a tough economic climate
• Strengthening your balance sheet
• Alternative sources of funding (such as equity and mezzanine) including details of the new Scottish Investment Bank
• The pros and cons of consolidation & acquisitions
