The Kinross-based retailer, which operates 29 stores across Fife and Perthshire, was presented with a charity trophy for its "tremendous efforts" in raising much-needed funds for the charity.
Macmillan Cancer Support ran a corporate cup challenge for all businesses which were taking part in the World's Biggest Coffee Morning in the charity's centenary year.
David Sands stores, staff and customers grasped the challenge and raised an impressive £12,688.51.
Macmillan paid tributed to the company's "hard work and spirit". April Davidson, Macmillan fundraising manager for Fife and Forth Valley, presented the trophy the retailer's chief executive David Sands and Ewen Chisholm, chief operating officer, at the company's head office in Kinross.
April said: "It is such a great honour to have a corporate company embracing our events and the amount of money raised will go towards local people who are struggling with cancer.
"Cancer holds no prisoners and does not have a blueprint for who it affects. Indeed, it affects us all."
Meanwhile, other fundraising activities for Macmillan by David Sands staff have helped boost the amount raised for this year to £19,268.13.
