Barrie Brown, managing director of Brown Taylor Management, commented: "Our plans for 2012 at No.12 are a natural development of the business as dictated by current trends i.e restaurants rather than just bars, and a new gourmet steak house in the heart of Edinburgh is a change from what is currently on offer to a city of food lovers.
"We have a wonderful fine dining restaurant at No.12 with Mark Greenaway who since he opened last year has grown from strength to strength, and now we see opportunity to develop a space next door following our efforts in winning Scotland's Most Stylish Restaurant at the 2011 Scottish Style Awards."
