This year, the pavilion has a record number of producers exhibiting with 23 in attendance, most of whom are first time exhibitors. Over the next two days, they will be showcasing their wares to an expected 7000 buyers, chefs and key contacts from foodservice, hospitality and tourism.

The Scotland, a Land of Food and Drink pavilion offers a diverse range of goods including gin from Caithness, meat from Lanarkshire, crisps from Tayside, preserves from Galloway, fish from the West Coast of Scotland, soft drinks from Edinburgh and a variety of chilled fresh goods.

Two of our exhibitors, Mackie’s Crisps and Great Glen Charcuterie, are also finalists in the ‘What’s Hot at ScotHot Awards’ which aims to uncover the trailblazers of today and provides a platform to showcase the products to key buyers.

Scotland Food & Drink’s Access to Markets Manager Stephanie Pritchard commented, “We are delighted to host the Scotland, a Land of Food and Drink pavilion at ScotHot again this year.

“The industry is flourishing and consumers are crying out for more local produce to be available on menus across the country. ScotHot presents a great opportunity for businesses to exhibit in front of a large number of key trade buyers and chefs from foodservice, hospitality and tourism enabling our producers to showcase what they have to offer.

“The Scottish industry is increasingly recognised for its premium larder which offers food and drink of high quality and excellent provenance. I’d encourage show visitors to come to the pavilion to discover our skilled producers and quality food and drink.”

In addition to the Scotland, a Land of Food and Drink pavilion, Scotland Food & Drink’s partner The Brewers’ Association of Scotland (TBAS) are showcasing six innovative Scottish breweries as part of Liquid Academy Live on Thursday (16th March) at 11am.

ScotHot, Scotland’s biggest food, drink, hospitality and tourism show, is open from 9am on the 15th of March and 16th of March at Glasgow’s SECC and as part of Scottish Tourism Week.
