Taking place during Scottish Food & Drink Fortnight, the Marketplace is a farmers’ market-style marquee where local and Scottish producers and craftspeople can showcase and sell their products to thousands of visitors expected at the event.

Traders are being invited to register their stall via the online booking form before the deadline on Monday 28th August.

HorsePower is an imaginative and exciting event that celebrates the country’s relationship and reliance on the horse; a flagship event during Scotland’s Year of Heritage, History & Archaeology.

Fiona Richmond, Head of Regional Food at Scotland Food & Drink and project manager for the Marketplace, commented:

“We’d love visitors to have a fantastic experience, enjoy meeting producers and artisans and return home with a lovely selection of products. We’re looking to encourage as many local food and craft producers as possible to help make the Marketplace an exciting and unique showcase of what Scottish produce is all about. With an expected crowd of over 8,000, it is the perfect place to showcase and sell your products.”

The Marketplace is available to food, drink and craft producers, excluding alcohol and food-to-go, and stalls cost £60 (+VAT) per stall, with the option to include power for an additional £25(+VAT). Bookings must be made by 5pm on Monday 28th August 2017
