The co-operative, owned by British dairy farmers and with headquarters in Glasgow, is showcasing its award-winning Mull of Kintyre and Isle of Arran cheddars at the prestigious event, which is the only fine food trade show in Scotland and is a firm favourite among farm shop and deli owners, as well as speciality food retailers and restaurateurs.

Taking place at the SEC from the 21st to 23rd January 2018, visitors to the First Milk stand (P57) will be treated to samples of delicious Isle of Arran cheddar, which is hand-crafted by a small team of cheese-makers at the Torrylinn Creamery, using traditional methods passed down through several generations. A fantastic range of waxed flavoured truckles including Lime and Chilli, Cracked Black Pepper and Caramelised Onion will also be available for tastings.

Also launching at the event will be First Milk’s multi-award-winning Smoked Mull of Kintyre cheddar, which won gold at the prestigious British Cheese Awards and silver at the World Cheese Awards last year.

Speaking about the event, First Milk’s marketing executive, Paul Stewart, said: “The show provides the perfect opportunity for trade customers to try our fantastic range of award-winning Cheddars, and help elevate their current offer with our delicious range of premium Scottish cheese.”
