Scotland’s official Food Pioneer, Chef Fred Berkmiller, has launched the hotly anticipated Scotland Food & Drink Excellence Awards 2017.
An action plan aimed at helping Scotland’s food and drink employers attract a new generation of skilled professionals has been launched by the industry.
A strong line-up of speakers from Scotland and overseas has been recruited to speak at a Grazing Conferences being held at Moffat House Hotel on Wednesday 8 February and Huntingtower Hotel in Perth on Thursday 9 February.
On Monday 16th January, Food from Fife arranged a visit for 17 members of the local hospitality and catering industry to food producers in and around St Andrews.
A brand-new category for the best product made with Scotch Beef PGI, Scotch Lamb PGI or Specially Selected Pork has been added to the recently launched Scotland Food & Drink Excellence Awards.
