Tazio Gagliardi, Managing Director, explains: “We’re honoured and delighted to receive no fewer than 13 new Great Taste awards this year. We take great pride in delivering only the very best, and to have our products recognised by a body as renowned as the Guild of Fine Foods gives us a genuine thrill. The fact that we’ve won 13 more of these coveted awards confirms to us that the extra care, time and skill we put into producing our products is worth every moment.

“We’re particularly delighted to add all of our Dry Aged Steaks to our award-winning portfolio. It’s extremely satisfying to see that our skill and experience in selecting, maturing and hand cutting these exceptional steaks has been recognised across the board.

“Christmas, too, is covered for our lucky customers with both our Free-range Turkey and our Mini Three Bird Roast gaining awards.”

Some of the judges’ comments for the Dry Aged Steaks included:

“A stunning piece of steak.  Superb marbling of fat with deep savoury beefy note, juicy and sweet with tons of flavour!  Mouth filling, melting texture with length on the palate.  Truly and deeply satisfying.”

“A deep and unctuous flavour - beefy and full of grass and meadow. Great buttery tender meat and melt in the mouth fat. A corker!”

“A very handsome steak! Juicy and absolutely chock a block with flavour. The sirloin was stunning and the fillet just melted in our mouths and left us wanting the eat the lot. The fat was so buttery and creamy and full of absolute deliciousness.”

“It cuts like butter. The juices are running - it is so succulent.”
