Launching a business during Covid, re-labelling 6,000 glass bottles by hand and foraging nettles, Nuisance Drinks founder Hugo Morrissey has suffered his fair share of stings.
But there is light at the end of the tunnel, as Nuisance walked away from the 2022 Farm Shop and Deli Show in Birmingham with their entire range scooping up awards. Nuisance made their journey back up the M6 with each of their drinks having won the following awards:
Silver Award: Nuisance Wild Bramble & Rosemary
Bronze Award: Nuisance Wild Nettle
Bronze Award: Nuisance Mint, Cucumber & Chilli
On the recognition, founder Hugo Morrissey said: “It’s a great achievement for us – it’s been an exciting but challenging journey from foraging our drinks at Hopetoun Estate and battling through lockdowns so it’s fantastic to see our drinks gaining such recognition alongside other fantastic producers”.
Nuisance Drinks are available nationwide in over 200 cafes, restaurants, delis, farm shops, garden centres and other retailers.
