Mossgiel Farm supplies unique organic milk from the organic family farms of Scotland. Brewed for goodness and always in reusable, environmentally caring glass bottles - we're on a mission to change dairy and bring the experience of yesterday back to Scotland.
Mossgiel Farm began due to a passion for change. We almost lost our family farm on the lands once tended by Robert Burns after the international milk price collapsed, causing Farmer Bryce to make a loss of over £100,000 in his first year of farming, after the death of the previous farming tenant... his dad. We couldn't believe that the fate of our family farm was dependant on commodity prices for milk, natures original superfood - so we took hold of the reigns of local food, told our commodity milk buyer they were no longer getting the awesome milk produced by our Ayrshire cows and brought fresh, local milk back to the peeps of Scotland in a completely unique way. Today, we now support other organic family farms in Ayrshire who faced the same perils when the milk price collapsed. Supplying all across Scotland from Ayr to Aberdeen through a network of incredible supporters and with zero single-use plastic for all of Mossgiel Organic Milk. Due to the Coronavirus outbreak, we also opened up a home delivery Community Shop for all of East Ayrshire - working with local suppliers to have local food delivered directly to your doorstep, so you don't need to venture out during the Covid-19 lockdown period. Our passion is to drive change in Scottish Dairy - one pint at a time!
