Seeding Growth is geared towards early-stage businesses or those nearer the start of their growth journey to help build the essential commercial skills for success. A dynamic mix of collaborative group learning, access to market experts and networks, and tailored one-to-one support, will provide the skills and confidence you need to drive sales and opportunities beyond your local market.

2 half-day workshops covering:

  • Know the onward support of Scotland Food & Drink and market intelligence

Module 3: Marketing Communications

2 half-day workshops covering:

  • Communications tools
  • PR opportunities at Scotland Food & Drink
  • Maximising your communications budget

Module 4: Research, Products & Supply Chains

2 half-day workshops covering:

  • Where do ideas come from?
  • Gathering customer feedback & identifying the need for product action
  • Audits & product benchmarking
  • The retail supply chain: local, symbol, regional multiple
  • Scaling for growth

Module 5: Effective Selling

2 half-day workshops covering:

  • The influence of the Commercial Manager
  • The importance of good communication
  • Understanding the buyer’s perspective
  • The art of prioritising and juggling
